The cold-pressed variation has a slightly textured surface that provides excellent tooth and allows for easy color absorption, making it ideal for watercolor painting, gouache, and other water-based media. The hot-pressed variation has a smooth surface texture that is ideal for creating fine details and sharp edges, and is also great for ink and pen drawing. The rough variation has a heavily textured surface that adds character and depth to your artwork, and is perfect for creating a rough, organic look in your watercolor paintings or for creating special effects.
Each variation of the Baohong Artist Grade Watercolor Paper Block comes in various sizes, ranging from 4.9″ x 7″ to 16″ x 12.2″, and contains 20 sheets of 140lb (300gsm) watercolor paper per block. The paper block is glued on all four sides to prevent the paper from buckling or warping when wet, making it convenient to paint on without the need for stretching or taping down.
The Baohong Artist Grade Watercolor Paper Block is easy to transport and store, making it perfect for artists who want to work en plein air or in a studio setting. Overall, this high-quality product provides excellent performance, durability, and value for your artistic needs.
